It's Official: Colin Powell Is Now A Democrat


I think most folks aren't surprised by Mr. Powell's party switch
A longtime supporter of U.S. President Barack Obama, Mr. Powell has officially gone from being a moderate Republican to a moderate Democrat. ABC News reports on Mr. Powell's not-so-surprising party switch: "Colin Powell, the former Republican secretary of state and general, has officially switched his party affiliation, more than four years after backing Barack Obama's first presidential bid in 2008. Powell made the announcement on his Facebook page on Sunday night. "Proud and honored to join the Democratic Party, the home of President @BarackObama!'
